Technology decisions only matter if they improve how the business runs. That principle has shaped my work as an operator, a global leader, and an industry analyst.
I spent 30 years inside enterprise systems before becoming an industry analyst. That includes operating roles, global leadership positions at Atos and Magnit, and analyst work covering ERP, enterprise data, and security. The combination gives me a clear view of where technology strategies hold up and where they break down once they hit real workflows, data constraints, and execution.
What I continue to see across enterprises is the gap between vendor messaging and production reality. Roadmaps say one thing. Operators tell a different story. My work is to translate between those two layers, for the executives making modernization decisions and for the vendors trying to reach them.

My approach centers on business value. I meet organizations where they are, aligning decisions to their data maturity, operational readiness, and risk posture. The focus is on what will improve performance, what introduces risk, and what it takes to execute successfully in production. Not slideware. Not roadmaps. What actually runs.
